Google rewards Dotgo with an award for its secure filtering chatbot

The Build-An-Agent competition was organized by Google to reward chatbots that demonstrate innovation and highlight the functionality of Google’s professional messages.

BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NEW JERSEY, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, June 8, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ – Dotgo ™, a leading provider of RCS cloud communications and enterprise messaging solutions, is one of the demo award winners of the Build-An-Agent competition. The competition was organized by Google to create and launch innovative experiences on Google Business Messages Platform. Dotgo’s “Safe Screening Chatbot” was ranked among the top ten winners in the “demo” category.

The Safe Screening chatbot shows how businesses are implementing a contactless screening process to help them reopen safely during the pandemic. People wishing to enter the building scan a QR code displayed at the entrance to open the chatbot and provide their contact details by answering a few simple questions in a conversational manner. Depending on the responses, they are given a green or red pass that informs them whether it is safe for them to enter the premises or not, which helps organizations curb the spread of COVID-19.

Google’s Business Messages platform helps users chat with brands from Google Search, Google Maps, or branded channels. The use of rich multimedia features such as smart responses, visual product carousels and confirmation buttons, makes the overall user experience seamless. There is also a smooth transition from automated responses to a live customer service agent, in case the chatbot is unable to respond to a customer request. Commercial messaging improves customer service with rich messaging, allowing businesses to broaden the conversation to drive loyalty, buying, planning, and upselling.

Dotgo is a Google Partner for Business Messages, enabling them to onboard brands, influence roadmap and be among the first to help businesses deliver enhanced messaging experience to their customers through search. Google, Google Maps or brand owned channels.

“Dotgo is an early adopter of business messaging and has worked on several use cases to support businesses in different industries and regions. We saw an opportunity to leverage the Business Messages URL entry point with a QR code to support secure filtering of employees, students, teachers, and visitors to schools and other workplaces. We thank Google for launching this competition to provide a forum for innovators to share their ideas and look forward to Dotgo’s continued contributions to the adoption and growth of business messages, ”said Surinder Anand, CTO and VP, Product Management, Dotgo.
