How to use Google Maps speed limit warning feature
Google maps has become an essential tool for many drivers who need directions, but the increase in tools and functionality means that drivers can now benefit from new features.
Among these is a speed limit warning that helps keep drivers safe and aware of the limit wherever they are, for their safety and also to avoid potential fines.
Google recognized that drivers were often focused on the road, rather than their speedometer, and therefore created this feature to help raise awareness of speed limits.
The Google maps Speed limit warning function is built into the usual Google maps app and is displayed in addition to other basic details about the trip.
The system works by alerting you if it detects that you are driving faster than the limit.
This doesn’t mean that drivers have to take their eyes off the wheel, but it will help ensure that you can stay safe by being aware of your speed behind the wheel.
