ALMOST every neighborhood in Southampton is inundated with Covid cases, government data shows.

Of the city’s 31 districts, 29 are in the worst possible category, meaning they have a case rate of over 800 cases per 100,000 population.

Only two do not fall into this category, namely Bassett Green, Redbridge and Millbrook West. However, these both fall into the second category, with a case rate of between 400 and 799.

Cases have more than doubled in a number of districts, including East Bitterne which has seen an increase of 71 cases, bringing the total here to 107 cases.
