Google Maps sleuths baffled by ‘huge’ rubber duck in middle of lagoon
A Google Maps user has been left baffled after spotting a ‘huge’ rubber duck floating in the middle of a lagoon.
The find was uploaded by Reddit user “u/_Nefasto” and left several users puzzled as to why it is located on the shore of the artificial lake in the family park in the middle of Santiago – the capital of Chile.
The user wrote: “Giant rubber duck in the lagoon of Santiago de Chile”.
Another Reddit user was quick to comment on the duck’s size, writing, “Dang! This stuff is huge!”
Another user commented: “For a moment at first glance I thought this was the Canadian F1 track.”
A third explained that he had seen one before on his college campus: “We had one at my college at the University of North Florida. I stayed there for years. »
The reason the sculpture is there is that it is part of an outdoor exhibition of world-renowned artists which was unveiled in November last year.
