Crime map for Southampton using Hampshire Police data
The latest data available shows that 1,435 such incidents were reported to Hampshire Police in November 2021.
But at the end of the month, 1,174 were still under investigation.
Otherwise, the police were unable to pursue the suspect 97 times and identify a suspect 97 more times.
Officers were awaiting a result in 21 cases, resolved 16 cases locally, and cautioned the suspect 10 times.
Police also believe it was not in the public interest to take formal action on three incidents.

The data also shows Milner Court was the worst hit road in September with 29 crimes reported.
Antisocial behavior had a whopping 464 reported cases, which meant it topped the list as well.
Criminal damage and arson was the third most reported crime, reaching 260.
230 law and order reports took place in Southampton in November 2020.
Burglaries (177), crimes against vehicles (147) and other crimes (133) were also among the most reported crimes.
While possession of weapons was one of the least reported crimes with 36.
At the bottom of the scale is the theft of a person who received 22 reports during the month of November.
