“Big Foot” creature found on Google Maps in Russia

Bigfoot is a mysterious creature that everyone knows as people – and now people have apparently spotted one via Google Maps.

In a TikTok created by @googlemapsfun, an account with 8.1 million followers who posts some of the strange sightings he encounters on Google Street View when zooming in on random parts of the globe.

This video titled: “The scariest things recorded by Google Maps without knowing it”, shows a person using the Google Street View tool and, according to TikTok, “searching in the woods of Russia” (although due to the remoteness of the location, this cannot be confirmed) and came across something unusual.

A large brown creature surrounded by trees can be seen looking in the direction of the camera and as the person zooms into the image for a closer look, it appears to resemble the large ape-like features that Bigfoot is described as having (Let’s be honest though, it’s probably just a guy in a suit or a statue).

Last year, a similar account called @hidden.on.google.earth with 5.3 million followers shared the same clip of someone discovering the Sasquatch but did not confirm where that location was. The star of the dayreported.

Since the two accounts posted the bizarre image, their videos have received a combined total of 6.6 million views, 242,000 likes, as well as hundreds of comments from people with different theories about what the photo could be.

One person wrote: “You have found the legendary Bigfoot.”

“I think it’s Bigfoot, don’t you?” another said, and someone else added, “Bigfoot is really real.”

Although others weren’t so convinced and believed there was a more logical explanation.

One person wrote: “A man in a bigfoot suit who knew Google was coming.”

“Bigfoot is a wooden statue…nothing more. We have something similar near my house,” another person said.

Someone else commented: “It was for a Bigfoot movie.”

“Always a shame that these Tiktoks never specify the location which makes me not believe it at all,” replied a fourth person.

Elsewhere, a hiker who came across a large footprint thinks it might be proof of Bigfoot’s existence.
